An experiment

A long time ago (a month ago that is) I wore my favorite gypsy skirt for the second time in two years. I didn't do justice to that beautiful skirt because being the dork that I am, I  paired it with my trusty boots and huge coat on a snowy day. I saw Mel of Idee Geniale wear a skirt as a top in her Delightful Dozen project and I was inspired. So I decided to conduct an experiment and crossed my fingers praying that it wouldn't backfire. It didn't ! Hallelujah !

Yes I did it ! I wore the skirt as a strapless dress and it fit perfectly. It has flecks of gold with the white print and two lines of sequins~one around the waist and one around the bottom. Plus the two patches of  different patterned prints (one on the front left and another on the back right) give a very bohemian feel to the outfit.

  1. I liked your experiment. Will think of wearing my skirts in the same fashion - "Strapless frocks" :)
