Hot and Humid

Why is it when you wish for it, you never get it and when we do get it, its just too much to handle? This is exactly what happened to me with this weekend's weather. Like any good Hindu, I prayed for some awesome kick-ass weather this weekend to our many Gods, and what I did get was a confirmation that all the Gods love me so much that we got an overdose of hot and humid weather which would have given us a heat stroke if it weren't for the many bottles of Gatorade, water and lime & lemon flavored crystal light packets for hydration.

We had actually made plans which basically went down the poo poo pot because the only time we could step out without any problems was late in the evening, when the sun was conveniently at its lowest point and there was a slight breeze swirling around the tree tops (which unfortunately Kamikazi wouldn't let me climb). The good news is, I did manage to get some pictures taken when it was light out.

Nothing about this outfit was planned. The hardware around my wrist is actually a belt which I really don't know how to wear. Belts for me is not about accessorizing, its about keeping my pants in place (big hips-small waist problem). The shoes are the most comfortable pair of heels I own. I could practically do some hardcore acrobats in them (that was what I was doing on the tracks anyways). My hubs was biting his nails off in anxiety watching me walk on those tracks. It was one of those days when I was least bothered about what I was wearing. I had bought the 'makes me look preggers' top because of the color (I hate it when I do that) and its fit is horribly unflattering. Oh well, no regrets!
