Leftover food Idea

I don't know if you guys still remember the Chick-pea and Potato recipe that I posted last year, but it is one of the most easiest, convenient and one of my favorite recipes to make. I had made it a couple of days ago and I decided to use the leftovers to make grilled sammiches for lunch today. They came out oh-so-good, that I had to share with you guys.

I slathered copious amounts of Cilantro and Jalapeno hummus (from Trader Joe's) on two slices of bread, followed by the chick-pea and potato filling and then sprinkled it with some Chaat Masala. You can use any spice/herbs that you like. I used chopped onions, because I love the crunch and strong flavor. Top it off with your favorite cheese and grill the sammich to perfection. Get your dipping sauce out or pair the sammich with your favorite soup. Droolisimo!

  2. That looks really good but i'm not a lover of chickpeas. I'm always smiling from ear to ear when there's leftover rice though. It's so easy to transform it into another meal :)
